‘Dancing’ Wins the Week in Adults 18-49, Viewers

ABC tied CBS as the top network in adults 18 to 49 with help from its summer reality hit “Dancing With the Stars.”

For the week ended July 10, “Dancing” was the top show in adults 18 to 49 with a 6.7 rating, according to Nielsen Media Research. “Dancing” was also the top show in total viewers, with 22.3 million viewers tuning in for the show’s Wednesday finale.

CBS maintained its six-week run as the top network in total viewers, with help from “CSI” (14. 9 million) and “Without a Trace” (12.3 million).

In the demo “CSI” scored a 4.8 for the week’s No. 2 spot, followed by the premiere of CBS’s summer reality series “Big Brother” (3.4) on Thursday.

ABC and CBS tied for the week with a 2.0 in adults 18 to 49, followed by NBC and Fox (1.9), UPN (1.0) and the WB (0.8).

In total viewers CBS won the week with 7.4 million viewers, followed by ABC (6.1 million), NBC (5.8 million), Fox (4.4 million), UPN (2.3 million) and The WB (1.9 million).
