Fox News Channel correspondent Brian Wilson has been promoted to congressional correspondent. His beat will range from breaking news on Capitol Hill-he was the first to report on TV last week that Justice Sandra Day O’Connor was retiring from the Supreme Court-to congressional elections.
In the announcement Tuesday, Fox News Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes said, “Brian’s extensive experience in Washington, D.C., and his first-rate reporting skills make him a natural for this position.”
Mr. Wilson anchored and reported for Fox-owned WTTG-TV in Washington before joining Fox News. He is vice chairman of the Radio & Television Correspondents Association.
