Tribune Entertainment has extended its deal to syndicate movies from DreamWorks SKG to include pictures released in 2004 and 2005, such as “War of the Worlds.” The agreement, announced Wednesday, is the second extension of the arrangement Tribune and DreamWorks first reached in 2003.

In addition to “War of the Worlds,” the deal includes “Shrek 2,” “Shark Tale,” “Madagascar” and “Collateral,” as well as pictures not yet released this year, such as “The Island” and “Just Like Heaven.”

Tribune will continue to have exclusive rights to oversee domestic television station and barter sales, as well as marketing activities, for the films’ broadcast syndication.
