CBS Announces Fall Premiere Dates

CBS will give its fall season an early launch by premiering the 11th installment of the “Survivor” reality series Thursday, Sept. 15. “Survivor: Guatemala” premieres at 8 p.m. (ET) one day before the special two-hour premiere of the sci-fi drama “Threshold,” set to debut Friday, Sept. 16, at 9 p.m.

CBS’s Monday night lineup of “The King of Queens,” “How I Met Your Mother,” “Two and a Half Men,” “Out of Practice” and “CSI: Miami” premieres Monday, Sept. 19, the day the fall broadcast season officially begins.

“NCIS” premieres Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 8 p.m., followed by the finales of the summer reality series “Big Brother 6” and “Rock Star: INXS.”

The eighth installment of “Amazing Race,” which features four-member teams, gets a two-hour premiere Tuesday, Sept. 27. The legal drama “Close to Home” premieres at 10 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4.

“Still Standing,” “Yes, Dear” and “CSI: NY” will premiere Wednesday, Sept. 21, while “CSI” begins its new season Sept. 22. Following “CSI” will be a special preview of “Criminal Minds,” which has its 9 p.m. time period premiere Sept. 28.

“Ghost Whisperer” and “Numb3rs” premiere their new seasons Friday, Sept. 23, while “48 Hours Mystery” returns for a new season Saturday, Sept. 24.

The Sunday lineup returns Sept. 25 with “60 Minutes,” “Cold Case” and the “CBS Sunday Movie,” which opens with “Martha Behind Bars.”

In addition, CBS is scheduled to broadcast “The 57th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards” Sunday, Sept. 18.
