Emmy Award-winning talk show producer John Redmann has been named an executive producer of Telepictures Productions’ fall talk strip “The Tyra Banks Show,” a move that partners him with previously named “Tyra” executive producer Kerrie Moriarity.

The announcement came Monday from Hilary Estey McLoughlin, executive VP and general manager of Telepictures, who said Mr. Redmann’s experience with celebrity guests and Ms. Moriarity’s background in producing issue-oriented episodes would complement each another.

“John will be instrumental in booking the celebrity talent and musical acts for the show,” Ms. Estey McLoughlin said in a press release. “Kerrie will continue to oversee the shows that cover the real women issues that are relevant to Tyra’s generation, including relationships, body image and self-esteem. The show will also continue to concentrate on fashion and beauty, pop culture and lifestyle segments.”

This past season Mr. Redmann executive produced the first season of Buena Vista’s talk strip “The Tony Danza Show,” and he previously executive produced the first season of Buena Vista’s “The Wayne Brady Show.” Mr. Redmann served as supervising producer on Telepictures’ “The Rosie O’Donnell Show,” and worked on the production staff of Sony’s “Ricki Lake” and Paramount’s “Leeza.”
