NBC News has two new VPs: David Verdi, who has been executive director of news, and Mark Lukasiewicz, who has been executive producer of NBC News specials.

In an internal memo Wednesday, NBC News President Neal Shapiro said both executives would retain current responsibilities while adding new assignments. Mr. Verdi will help manage NBC News’ relationships with international partners, while Mr. Lukasiewicz will oversee digital technologies and work closely with the new NBC Universal Digital Media team.
