Susan Fleishman has been named executive VP of corporate communications for Warner Bros. Entertainment. She will report to Barry Meyer, chairman and CEO of the company.

In her new post, which she will assume Sept. 26, Ms. Fleishman will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all of the company’s corporate communications strategies and activities on a worldwide basis, including media relations, employee communications and governmental relations.

Before joining Warner Bros., Ms. Fleishman spent a decade at Universal Studios. She was most recently senior VP of community affairs for NBC Universal and corporate media affairs for Universal Studios. Previously, she served as senior VP of corporate communications and public affairs.

Ms. Fleishman has also held PR positions with Rosen & Co., Sony Corp. of America and Continental Insurance.
