Friendly Re-Elected HRTS President

The Hollywood Radio & Television Society’s board of directors has unanimously re-elected Andy Friendly president of the organization. Mr. Friendly will begin serving the 2005-06 term this month.

Mr. Friendly, a television producer, is president of Andy Friendly Productions, a senior consultant for Sucherman Consulting Group and president of the board of Friends of the Los Angeles Free Clinic.

Other officers re-elected by unanimous vote of the board were VP Andrea Wong, executive VP of alternative programming, series and late-night for ABC Entertainment; Secretary Sue Naegle, partner and department head at United Talent Agency; and Treasurer Chris Silbermann, partner in the Broder-Webb-Chervin-Silbermann Agency.

Elected to three-year terms as board members by the HRTS membership were Angela Bromstad, president of NBC Universal Television Studio; Jim Griffiths, president of Playboy Entertainment Group; Peter Jankowski, president of Wolf Films; and Rich Ross, president of Disney Channel Worldwide.
