George Lopez to Speak at Family Programming Symposium

Comedian George Lopez of ABC’s “George Lopez” will be the featured lunchtime guest speaker at the Family Friendly Programming Forum’s annual symposium Sept. 20 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles. Mr. Lopez will discuss the importance of family television, experiences on his show and how to make great family-oriented television.

The Forum, consisting of advertisers who have funded such family-friendly programming as ABC’s “Commander in Chief” and UPN’s “Everybody Hates Chris,” will engage all facets of the entertainment community to discuss the present state and future of family television.

Panelists include The WB’s David Janollari, Fox Broadcasting Co.’s Peter Liguori, ABC Primetime’s Stephen McPherson, NBC’s Kevin Reilly and CBS Paramount’s Nancy Tellem.
