IFC has renewed its Henry Rollins series under an expanded format for 2006, the network announced Monday. The monthly review show, “Henry’s Film Corner,” will return as a weekly series called “The Henry Rollins Show” next March. The new series will be a talk show with music acts in which Mr. Rollins will discuss news topics with guests.

“Season one exceeded our expectations, so much so that we saw an opportunity to broaden the scope of the show to give Henry the forum to speak on more than just movies,” said Debbie DeMontreux, IFC’s VP of development and production. “Henry’s blunt and brutally honest opinions on everything from the world of film to more complex and serious social and political issues will carry on in season two.”

Twenty episodes have been ordered.
