Telephone giant Verizon Communications continued to rack up carriage agreements ahead of the official launch of its television service FiOS, inking a distribution agreement with The Walt Disney Co.

The deal, whose financial terms were not disclosed, involved carrying 12 cable networks as well as granting Verizon retransmission consent for ABC’s owned-and-operated television stations. The cable channels include ABC Family, ABC News Now, Disney Channel, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Classic, ESPNEWS, ESPNU, ESPN HD, EPSN2 HD, Toon Disney and SoapNet.

In addition, Verizon agreed to carry several broadband services from Disney as well as ESPN Deportes on Verizon’s Spanish-language package. The deal also includes VOD and pay-per-view content from several cable channels, though ABC content doesn’t appear to be part of the deal.
