CMT has signed a one-year agreement with NASCAR Images to produce quarterly highlight specials on NASCAR’s auto racing series, the network announced Tuesday. The first special, “NASCAR’s Most Dramatic Finishes,” will run Oct. 28.

“Airing original NASCAR programming is a natural fit for our audience,” said Brian Philips, executive VP and general manager of CMT. “We’re thrilled to establish what promises to be a long and successful relationship.”
