Fox Stations Pick Up ‘Judge Alex’ for Season Two

Twentieth Television’s new courtroom strip “Judge Alex” has been renewed for a second season by the Fox Television Stations group. The announcement was made Monday jointly by Bob Cook, president and chief operating officer of Twentieth Television, and Paul Franklin, executive VP and general sales manager of broadcast.

“Judge Alex” is the first program among this year’s new strips to receive a firm go for a second season.

“Alex,” which is hosted by former police officer, attorney and Florida Circuit Court Judge Alex Ferrer, is executive produced by Karen Melamed, Burt Wheeler and Sharon Sussman. The strip, produced at Fox’s owned-and-operated station KRIV-TV in Houston, currently airs in 94 percent of the U.S.
