Former Nickelodeon and Spike TV executive Albie Hecht said Tuesday he launched a new digital media company called Worldwide Biggies Inc. that will specialize in family entertainment.

Mr. Hecht said his new company has signed an exclusive two-year television production deal for children’s programming with Nickelodeon. Biggies also will produce the “Video Game Awards,” which will continue to appear on Spike. Mr. Hecht started the “Video Game Awards” when he was president of Spike.
