AOL to Sponsor AMC Documentary Series

AOL has signed on as the December sponsor of AMC’s documentary series “Movies That Shook the World,” the network announced Wednesday.

As part of the sponsorship, AOL receives clips of an interview with actress Mary Steenburgen on the impact of “Philadelphia,” one of the films to be featured in the series during December. AOL also gets tagged tune-in promos and billboards promoting the content at AOL.com.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
