Discovery Networks U.S. has reorganized its advertising sales force, putting teams in charge of specific groups of networks, the company said Monday.

The new network sales teams will be headed by John Barry, responsible for TLC and Discovery Home Channel; Scott Felenstein, Discovery Channel, The Science Channel and Military Channel; Lisa Fischer, Animal Planet, Discovery Health Channel, FitTV and Discovery Kids; and Harold Morgenstern, Travel Channel, BBC America, Discovery Times Channel and Discovery HD Theater.

All four executives have been promoted from VP to senior VP and will report to Evan Sternschein, senior VP of advertising sales and network strategies. Mr. Sternschein continues to report to Scott McGraw, senior VP of advertising sales, who reports to Joe Abruzzese, president of ad sales.

“By organizing the sales groups by network, we can keep our advertisers better informed about our high-quality programming and better demonstrate the value of each of our network audiences,” Mr. Abruzzese said.
