Trish Frohman was named executive VP of Turner Broadcasting System, the company said Tuesday.

In her new position Ms. Frohman, who was senior VP, will continue as head of Turner sports ad sales and the event marketing group and will add oversight of Turner’s local/regional ad sales division.

She succeeds Jim Williams, who is retiring from his position after 25 years with the company.
