Regis Philbin, daytime syndication talk show host and the former host of ABC’s prime-time version of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire,” is returning to the network as the host of an updated version of “This Is Your Life.”

Created and hosted by Ralph Edwards, “This Is Your Life” premiered on network television in 1952 and ran for nine years. In May 2005 18 of the most popular episodes were released on DVD. The newest incarnation, which is being produced by Fox Television Studios, will be a series of specials.
