Though Viacom’s Logo had a much-publicized launch, one of the other gay-themed cable networks is modestly gaining ground. Q Television Network recently announced new carriage agreements with Cox and Time Warner New York.

Q is a premium service, unlike Logo, which is on digital basic. The third gay-themed net, here! TV, is mostly video-on-demand. Added to Q’s previous agreements with RCN and Brighthouse, the new agreements brings the number of Q’s available households to about 2 million.
