CBS and DIC Entertainment are partnering to launch a Saturday morning branded kids programming block called “CBS’s Secret Saturday Morning Slumber Party” beginning this fall.

Nancy Tellem, president of CBS Paramount Network Television Entertainment Group, and Andy Heyward, chairman and CEO of DIC Entertainment, announced the multiyear agreement Thursday.

“Slumber Party” will feature three hours of FCC-compliant children’s programming and serve as a platform to introduce new kids programs created by DIC. In addition, it will feature series from DIC’s library of animated product. CBS and DIC did not announce the breakdown between new and library content for the block.
