Comcast’s Cohen, Others Scheduled to Testify at Indecency Hearings

David Cohen, Comcast executive VP, is among the top industry executives scheduled to testify during the Senate Commerce Committee hearings on indecency Jan. 19, the committee said Monday.

Also testifying, according to the committee: Jack Valenti, former chief of the Motion Picture Association of America; Charles Ergen, chairman and CEO of EchoStar Communications; Bruce Reese, joint board chairman of the National Association of Broadcasters and CEO of Bonneville International; L. Brent Bozell, founder and president of the Parents Television Council; Martin Franks, executive VP of CBS; Alan Rosenberg, president of the Screen Actors Guild; and Jeff McIntyre, legislative and federal affairs officer for the public policy office of the American Psychological Association.
