VH1 has promoted Michael Hirschorn to executive VP of original programming and production, the network announced Wednesday.

Mr. Hirschorn will oversee current VH1 original programming, East Coast and West Coast development and music and celebrity talent development. He is also supervising the network’s first scripted series, “So Notorious,” starring Tori Spelling.
