Kantor Named SVP, Warner Bros. Domestic TV Distribution

Former Fox marketing executive Susan Kantor has been named senior VP of marketing for both Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution and Telepictures Productions. The announcement was made Thursday by Jim Paratore, executive VP of Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution and president of Telepictures Productions.

In this newly created position, Ms. Kantor will oversee all of the marketing efforts for WBDTD, including handling the upcoming off-network launch of “Two and a Half Men” in 2007 and ongoing off-net runs of series such as “Friends” and “Sex and the City.” She will also manage the affiliate relations and promotions activities of the company’s Telepictures-produced first-run series, including “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” “The Tyra Banks Show” and “Extra.”

She will report directly to Mr. Paratore and work closely with Hilary Estey McLoughlin, executive VP and general manager for Telepictures Productions, and Lisa Gregorian, executive VP of worldwide marketing for Warner Bros. Television Group.

Ms. Kantor joins Warner Bros. from Twentieth Television, where she served as senior VP of marketing and creative. Before that she was creative director at MTV Networks, where she was responsible for channel branding, program promotion and campaigns for special events, including “The VH1 Video Awards.” She has also held marketing posts at USA Networks/Studios USA, Universal Television and Paramount Television.
