Roberts, Cooper Join Buena Vista Productions

Former E! and Style Network executive Ann Lewis Roberts has been named VP of development for Buena Vista Productions and producer Jon Cooper has joined the company as director of development. The announcements were made Monday by Gwynne Thomas, executive VP of programming and development for Buena Vista.

Ms. Lewis Roberts will guide the development efforts for the company, covering nonscripted programming for first-run syndication, network and cable in all dayparts. She will report to Ms. Thomas.

Ms. Lewis Roberts most recently served as VP of programming development and executive producer at E! Entertainment Television and the Style network, where she developed and executive produced “Gastineau Girls” and “Dr. 90210” for E! and Style’s new talk strip “Isaac.”

Mr. Cooper worked as a producer on Fox’s “Hell’s Kitchen,” UPN’s “America’s Next Top Model” and “Amish in the City” and ABC’s “The Bachelor.” He also served as development director for Showtime Networks, where he developed new cable channels.

Prior to joining E!, Ms. Lewis Roberts worked at “Entertainment Tonight” and was on the original team that launched “Access Hollywood.”
