Lifetime has ordered adaptations of Nora Roberts novels for four original movies, the network announced Wednesday. The order pairs the network with Peter Guber, whose Mandalay Television will produce the projects.

“Building this exciting filmed franchise by combining Lifetime’s powerful brand with Nora Roberts, a stratospheric author, will create a compelling entertainment experience,” said Peter Guber, chairman and CEO of Mandalay Entertainment Group.

The titles currently being developed are “Blue Smoke,” “Carolina Moon,” “Montana Sky,” “The Villa,” “Brazen Virtue” and “River’s End.”
