MTV Networks Makes Exec Changes to TV, Digital Management

MTV Networks on Wednesday announced management shifts that put new executives in charge of Nickelodeon’s television and digital businesses.

Cyma Zarghami, recently named head of MTVN Kids and Family Group, tapped Tom Ascheim as executive VP and general manager of Nickelodeon Television and Steve Youngwood as executive VP of Nickelodeon Digital Media.

Ms. Ascheim, previously executive VP and general manager of Nickelodeon Digital Television, assumes responsibilities that had been Ms. Zarghami’s. Mr. Youngwood’s position is new. He had been senior VP of entertainment products for Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products and will have a dotted-line reporting relationship to MTVN Chief Digital Officer Jason Hirschhorn.

Sarah Kirshbaum Levy, previously senior VP of strategy and business development was named executive VP of strategy and business operations for Nickelodeon.

Nickelodeon said Jeff Dunn, currently chief operating officer of Nickelodeon Networks Group and president of Nickelodeon Film and Enterprises, decided to leave the company.
