USA Network has ordered 11 episodes of “Psych,” sources said.

The series is a dramedy about a young detective who fakes having psychic powers to help police solve crimes. A spokesperson for the network said the order has not been confirmed.

“Psych” stars newcomer James Roday and Dulé Hill (“The West Wing”). The series is considered a potential companion for fellow USA dramedy “Monk.”

“Psych” is one of several pilots the network has been considering for a series debut this summer. At the network’s Television Critics Association session last month, the channel announced that “Psych” and fellow dramedy “Underfunded” were vying for the slot.

Steve Franks (“Big Daddy”) will executive produce.
