Bill Bailey, a former top aide to Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., has signed on as VP of government relations for The Walt Disney Co., effective April 3.
Mr. Bailey, who is currently senior VP of regulatory and government affairs for XM Satellite Radio, will succeed Mitch Rose at Disney. Mr. Rose, a former top aide to Sen. Ted Stevens, R-Alaska, left Disney recently to launch his own lobbying firm.
Preston Padden, Disney’s executive VP of worldwide government relations, made the announcement.
