NBC, Reveille and producer Sean “Diddy” Combs are planning a celebrity cooking reality series to run for five consecutive nights, April 17-21.

The series, “Celebrity Cooking Showdown,” will match three celebrity chefs-Wolfgang Puck, Cat Cora (Food Network’s “Iron Chef America”) and Govind Armstrong of L.A.-with nine culinary-minded celebrities.

Participating celebrities will be announced later this week. The one-hour show will run at 8 p.m. (ET) Monday through Friday.

A group of three celebrities will compete each night Monday through Wednesday. The winners from each of those nights will advance to a final cook-off on Thursday. Viewers then can vote online and via text messaging for a winner based on the food’s presentation. Meanwhile, the in-studio judges will make decisions on matters of taste and flavor.

For the final episode on Friday, the winner will be declared and the professional chefs will compete.

The show is produced by Reveille and Mr. Combs’ Bad Boy Entertainment. Reveille CEO Ben Silverman, Mr. Combs and David Hurwitz (“Fear Factor,” “The Man Show”) are executive producing.
