NBC is adding an additional eight episodes to its initial season order of its game show “Deal or No Deal” and will now officially schedule the hour-long series on two nights, Mondays and Fridays at 8 p.m.

The extra episodes will increase this season’s order to 30 episodes. “Deal or No Deal” originally premiered in December over five consecutive nights and returned on Feb. 27 in the same Monday-through-Friday format. It was then scheduled for Monday nights on a weekly basis, starting March 6, with some Friday night broadcasts scheduled throughout March.

“Deal,” which is hosted by Howie Mandel, is based on a format from Endemol that has aired in more than 35 countries. The series is executive produced in the U.S. by Scott St. John.
