NBCU Promotes Brown to Midwest Sales VP

Patricia Brown has been named VP of Midwest advertising and media sales for NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution. Barbara “Bo” Argentino, senior VP of advertising and media sales, made the announcement Monday.

Ms. Brown, who most recently was manager of television advertising sales for Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, will oversee Midwest advertiser and media sales for the division from the company’s Chicago office.

Prior to joining MSLO, Ms. Brown oversaw Midwest sales for Fox Cable Sales in Chicago, representing the National Geographic Channel and FX. Her agencies included Starcom, Cramer-Krasselt, OMD and Campbell Mithun.

Before that, she served as VP of Midwest media sales for King World. She began her career at the local station level, working for both WUSA-TV in Washington and Blair Television.
