The CW Picks Up Comedy Pilot

The CW has picked up its second comedy pilot of the development season, giving the green light to the joint CBS Paramount-Warner Bros. Television project “She Said, He Said.”

Written by TV movie writer Dan Berendsen, the project explores how men and women perceive situations differently. Garry Hart is executive producing along with Mr. Berendsen, with Heidi Clements serving as co-writer and supervising producer. No casting has been announced, and it has not been decided whether the pilot will be single camera or multicamera.

The CW is also moving forward on a pilot for a spinoff of the UPN comedy “Girlfriends,” a project that was a high priority for UPN before The CW was announced Jan. 24. More comedy pilot pickups are expected later this week.
