VH1 will back the launch of its first scripted comedy, “So noTORIous,” with its biggest marketing campaign ever, the network said Friday. The multiplatform push includes local broadcast commercials in Los Angeles; online ads on Yahoo; promotions on gossip Web sites such as PerezHilton.com, Gawker.com and Defamer.com; and a profile on MySpace.com.

A sneak peek of the premiere episode will appear on VH1’s broadband site Vspot beginning March 28. Episodes will be available via video-on-demand and mobile phone. The series, starring Tori Spelling and Loni Anderson, debuts April 12.
