‘Access Hollywood’ Gets Upgrades for 2006-07

NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution’s syndicated newsmagazine strip “Access Hollywood” is being upgraded in a number of top 50 markets for the 2006-07 television season. The announcement was made Monday by Sean O’Boyle, senior VP and general sales manager for the company.

“Access” will move to upgraded time periods on the Fox owned-and-operated stations in Dallas, Atlanta, Houston, Detroit and Minneapolis. Other top 50 market upgrades for the new season include CBS affiliate WIVB-TV in Buffalo, N.Y. and NBC affiliate WOOD-TV in Grand Rapids, Mich. The show will enter its 11th season in national syndication this fall and is renewed in more than 95 percent of the U.S. for 2006-07.
