Fox Introduces Ad-Supported ‘Prison Break’ Mobisodes: Fox said Monday it has created the first-ever ad-supported scripted mobisodes, short episodes of programs that are viewed on cellphones. The programming, “Prison Break: Proof of Innocence,” will be sponsored by Toyota. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The two-minute mobisodes begin today and new mobisodes will be available about three times a week. Each will feature the Toyota Yaris. The mobisodes are preceded by a 10-second ad for Toyota.

Fox Interactive Media will create a Toyota-branded “Prison Break” microsite on Fox.com with unique content and an opportunity to register for a “Prison Break”/Toyota sweepstakes.

Fox is also providing Toyota with category exclusivity during several upcoming “Prison Break” broadcasts. Fox will drive viewers to the microsite and the mobisodes with ads in daily and weekly publications.
