Continuing its strategy of courting younger viewers, Lifetime has canceled its older-skewing investigative drama “Missing.” The move comes several months after Lifetime canceled another veteran drama, “Strong Medicine.”

“While this series ran its course, we look forward to new programs rolling out on the network over the next couple of months,” said a statement by the network.

Upcoming Lifetime series include the detective drama “Angela’s Eyes” and the improvisational comedy “Lovespring International.”

“Missing,” starred Mark Consuelos, Vivica A. Fox and Caterina Scorsone as a team of FBI agents who locate missing persons. The series enjoyed three seasons on the network.
