MTV will partner with Snoop Dogg’s Hip-Hop Gaming League for a series of events and on-air specials, the network announced Thursday. MTV2 will air coverage of the video game league, whose finals will be held in Los Angeles next month.

“We’re thrilled to partner with the Hip-Hop Gaming League as it brings a whole new level of visibility to the world of organized video game competitions,” said Salli Frattini, MTV senior VP.

The partnership is the third gaming competition announcement this week. ESPN is producing “Madden Bowl,” where players face off playing “Madden NFL Football,” and USA has teamed with Major League Gaming to televise its gaming tournaments.
