Gemstar-TV Guide announced plans to offer an interactive program guide for mobile phones that will let consumers access program listings and schedule program recordings from their mobile phones. The company also launched a mobile version of TV Guide Channel with short-form and original mobile content highlighting shows and movies on TV. The IPG will launch later this year with a TV-like interface.
