A&E Reality Projects Confront Death

A&E announced Friday two reality projects in development that examine how people face the end of their life.

“Last Requests” will profile people looking for emotional closure before they die. In “Six Months” people with six months to live try to make the most of the time they have left.

“These programs present potent and powerful reflections of the human condition,” said Nancy Dubuc, senior VP of nonfiction and alternative programming for A&E Network. “We are able to present two distinct approaches to a topic that is tremendously difficult to face, but one that can also lead families to an extraordinarily inspirational moment in time.”
