TelevisionWeek is trawling video-sharing Web sites to find the hottest clips spreading on the Internet.

As seen on Break.com

The setup: Love is an international language, as the saying goes. Pugilism is too. Even without subtitles, the message is clear that there’s no love lost between Czech Health Minister David Rath and his right-wing rival, Miroslav Macek. During a recent dental conference, Mr. Macek left the lectern and smacked Mr. Rath on the back of his head. Mr. Rath walked away, but schoolyard tendencies got the best of him and he returned to engage in fisticuffs with Mr. Macek. A BBC report said Mr. Macek slapped Mr. Rath because he had made comments about Mr. Macek’s wife.

The source: According to a user who posted the clip on Google Video, it originated from a Czech TV Web site. It quickly made the rounds, landing on iFilm, YouTube and Break.com.

The hits: The clip was posted May 23 on Break.com and generated more than 400,000 views in the first two days. On YouTube it attracted more than 100,000 views, while Google Video listed it as one of the top two most popular videos for most of last week.
