“Wife Swap” executive producer Tony Yates is joining production company RDF Media as chief operating officer of its U.S. division.

Mr. Yates will be responsible for the operational and production management of all RDF’s U.S. programming on the West and East coasts. He has been working with RDF since 2003, first as co-executive producer on “Wife Swap” and since the 2004-05 season as executive producer on the ABC reality series.

Mr. Yates has worked on a variety of syndicated and network prime-time shows, including “Entertainment Tonight,” “Hard Copy,” “The Bachelor,” “Project Greenlight” and “Mad, Mad House” and as a consultant on “Beauty and The Geek.” Most recently, he worked as the co-executive producer on ABC’s “Supernanny.”

RDF has also promoted Wendy Roth to executive VP of RDF’s New York office. Both announcements were made Thursday by Chris Coelen, RDF USA’s chief financial officer.

Ms. Roth will run RDF’s New York office and continuing to executive produce “Wife Swap” as well as the new VH1 series “Ice-T’s Rap School,” which is currently in production out of RDF’s New York office.

Ms. Roth comes from a news production background and worked on “Good Morning America,” “Turning Point” and “The Barbara Walters Specials.” Ms. Roth has served as VP of Michael Davies’ Diplomatic Productions and was supervising producer on ABC’s “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.”
