Bravo has scheduled a new docudrama that gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at a newspaper, the network announced Monday. “Tabloid Wars” has six one-hour episodes set inside the New York Daily News. The series will track a handful of reporters who cover beats such as crime, the war in Iraq and celebrity news.

“This unprecedented series goes beyond entertainment in many ways and imparts a truly educational and unique glimpse at the inner workings of a competitive leading daily newspaper,” said Lauren Zalaznick, president of Bravo.

The series will premiere July 24.
