Endemol Creates Spanish-Language Division

Reality producer Endemol USA has formed Endemol USA Latino, a new division that will create Spanish-language programming. The new division will create and producing content for broadcast and cable television targeting U.S. Hispanic audiences. The Miami-based production company will be led by Stephanie Fisch, who has been appointed senior VP of Endemol USA Latino.

Current projects in the works for Endemol USA Latino include a version of NBC’s game show “Deal or No Deal” for NBC Universal-owned broadcaster Telemundo. The company also is expected to consider other Endemol formats that have been successful in Spanish-speaking countries.

Ms. Fisch, who is fluent in Spanish, previously served as VP of development for Mindless Entertainment, a reality production company that produces “Surreal Life,” “Strange Love,” “My Fair Brady” and “Ultimate Film Fanatic.” She also previously was senior VP of development for Galan Entertainment. Her executive producer credits include the “New York Magazine Awards Show,” the “Puerto Rico Day Parade” and the “2003 Latin Grammy’s Red Carpet Show” for TV Guide Channel. Ms. Fisch has also produced many commercials and music videos.
