MTV Networks offered more shows for sale on Apple Computer’s iTunes service, including a free download of Spike TV’s two-hour premiere of “Blade: The Series.”

The Viacom-owned cable television operation will add TV Land’s “Sit Down Comedy with David Steinberg,” Nick at Nite’s “Fatherhood,” Logo’s “Noah’s Arc,” MTV’s “Viva La Bam” and The N’s “Beyond the Break” to the iTunes menu.

All will be offered for $1.99 per episode as part of MTV Networks’ ongoing strategy to put make its youth-oriented programming available through multiple media, including the Web and mobile devices. Steve Jobs’ Apple Computer in October helped set off a rush among media companies to distribute their content in new ways after teaming with ABC to offer the network’s shows on iTunes.

“Blade” is available on the service June 29-July 11, MTV Networks said Thursday in a statement.
