Last week, OLN announced several upcoming shows to debut in the fourth quarter that blend OLN’s traditional focus on outdoor adventures and the emphasis of its new brand, Versus, on competition programming.

The series include:

“The Barbecue Championship Series” (working title), a sort of “Iron Chef” for brisket

“The Huntley Way” (working title), about the hunting and fishing adventures of Hollywood actor Huntley Ritter and veteran outdoorsman Ronnie Hall

“Off the Hook,” a reality series about a group of New York fishing buddies

“Shark Hunters: East vs. West,” chronicling a shark fishing tournament

“Soul of a Champion,” a series developed in part with sports editors at USA Today that attempts to define the traits that make a true champion and to develop a test to measure such traits.
