VH1 has ordered a new reality series in which white rappers compete for a cash prize.

Eight episodes of “The (White) Rapper Show” have been ordered for an early 2007 debut. Rapper Michael “MC Serch” Berrin (of the group 3rd Bass) will host. The series will be produced by VH1 in conjunction with Ken Mok (“America’s Next Top Model”).

The series continues VH1’s programming effort to find reality shows that mix music and celebrity culture.
