Julie Ballard-Lebe said she has resigned from her job as senior VP, director of sales for the CBS Television Stations Group to open an executive media search firm.

Ballard Executive Search will be based in Los Angeles and specialize in recruiting for broadcasting, cable and digital media, from top management such as general managers and general sales managers to the account executive level.

“It’s all about the people and I’ve met many fabulous media professionals in my 29 years in this business and hiring the best has always been one of my strongest suits,” Ms. Ballard-Lebe said. “Finding the right people for the right position… it is truly an art.”
