Fox Atomic Teams with StupidVideos.com

Viral video service StupidVideos.com is linking up with Fox Atomic to provide video content to the new film division of Fox Filmed Entertainment, which targets young audiences.

The partnership is the latest in a wave of deals that viral video sites are inking with established media companies as the upstarts seek brand recognition and revenue. By teaming with the user-generated video upstarts, the older companies gain cachet among younger viewers.

StupidVideos.com will supply video content for “The Blender,” a service on FoxAtomic.com that lets users edit footage from the division’s films, the companies said Wednesday in a press release.

StupidVideos will also provide a clip of the day for FoxAtomic.com.

StupidVideos generated nearly 1 million unique visitors in June, according to Nielsen//Net Ratings.
