Vincent Sadusky, VP, chief financial officer and treasurer of LIN TV, will become the company’s CEO following the retirement Monday of Gary Chapman. Mr. Sadusky had been expected to be named interim CEO, but instead received the title on a permanent basis.

Mr. Sadusky will join LIN TV’s board and will continue to act as CFO until his replacement is named. The board expects to name a new chairman soon.

Mr. Sadusky has been VP, CFO and treasurer of the 30-station group since 2004, overseeing financial functions and acquisitions. Prior to LIN, Mr. Sadusky was CFO and treasurer of Telemundo Holdings, where he was instrumental in selling Telemundo to NBC Broadcasting for $2.7 billion.
