Stirratt Named MTV Digital Ad Sales Executive VP

MTV Networks has named an executive to head all of its digital advertising sales.

Nada Stirratt will become executive VP of digital ad sales for MTVN, a new position, and will report to Michael Wolfe, president and chief operating officer of MTVN.

MTV has been aggressively developing digital content and broadband channels aligned with its television networks and is looking to generate a significant portion of its revenue from online and interactive businesses. The company said it expects to deliver more than 1 billion video streams by the end of the year.

Ms. Stirratt previously was senior VP and general manager of advertising sales for Advertising.com. Previously she worked in ad sales and business development for AOL Time Warner, Moviefone, Allure and Cosmopolitan.
